MLB Pitch Hit Run at Travis Fields

Travis Fields is excited to host its 2nd annual Major League Baseball’s Pitch Hit & Run™ competition this June. The free nationwide event gives youth athletes the chance to show off their baseball and softball skills in pitching, hitting, and running.

MLB Pitch Hit & Run™ is the official youth skills competition and is open to young athletes ages 7–14. Participants will be divided by age groups. Top performers from each division will have the opportunity to advance to the Team Championship round at an MLB Stadium. This year’s event will take place over two fun-filled evenings. Softball participants will compete on Friday, June 13, and baseball participants on Friday, June 20. Both events will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Travis Fields at Midtown Park, 2200 Bomber Dr, Bryan, TX 77801.
Whether you’re a first-time competitor or a seasoned player, this event is the perfect way to get on the field, have fun, and test your skills. All participants must bring a glove, a bat, and non-metal cleats. Baseball bats must have one of the following stamps: USA Baseball™, BBCOR, or be labeled with a BPF of 1.15 or less. Softball bats must have one of the following stamps: USA Softball™, USSSA, ASA, ISA, ISF, NSA, or be labeled with a BPF of 1.20 or less.
